Ranger is a 9 years QH gelding. He is looking for a new forever home. He is very friendly/easy to catch in the field (enjoys a nice scratch and pet from his human friends) trailers nicely, easy to bath, ties and stands like a champ. Ranger is good for farrier/vet and has received 40 days prof training over last year. He hasn't received a lot of consistent work so is still green but W/T well....needs work on canter and balance. He is an easy keeper (could loose a few lbs) and has not bad habits.
Unfortunately, like most QH, Ranger is showing some possible signs of navicular changes. Sometimes off a little front right, x-ray almost 2 yrs ago showed possible slight navicular changes but not definitive. Tried degree pads and isoxsuprine with mixed results. Currently he is bare foot with natural trimmer.
Ranger would make a good companion or light riding with experienced rider. He is current on vaccines. Will consider free off farm lease or foster pending adoption WITH contract. Excellent verifiable references and farm visit required. Contact: [email removed]
